Mt. Vernon, IL – Affordable Gas & Electric, LLC announced it has reached 200,000 annual megawatt hours of electricity under management.
Affordable Gas & Electric, LLC (AGE) received its Illinois ABC License (12-0435) in July, 2012. In eleven months, AGE has amassed consulting service agreements with 28 communities totaling 16,000 residential households under Illinois’ residential municipal aggregation rules. When combined with its nearly 500 small commercial, municipal and large industrial clients, this customer base represents 200,000 annual megawatt hours under management by AGE.

While initially focused solely in the Ameren IL utility area, AGE has recently filed for electricity broker and aggregation licensing in Ohio and is looking to expand to other states as well.
